Student Instructor

Student Instructors coach leadership and communication skills at ICC training events, collaborating with the Area Coordinator, Team Leaders, and other Student Instructors to run the events.

 REQUIREMENTS & ELIGIBILITY

  • At least 16 years of age by date of event
  • ASLT who are 15 years of age may serve as a Student Instructor.
  • Guild Inductee (Must complete speech 10 and presented for your entire Chapter but you may wait to have the witnesses who evaluated your previous 9 speeches and induction ceremony after the CFC Event.)
  • Have participated as RSA and/or PREP Team within the past 12 months
  • GSLT, GSLMT & ASLT are not required to have recommendations and are expected to serve in your local Area as detailed in the eligibility and requirements.
  • NOTE: Completed forms will be valid for a period of one year March-February


PRE-CONFERENCE PREPARATION

All Student Instructors are required to complete the iSI course in our ICC Academy.


APPLICATION & REGISTRATION PROCESS

You will apply and join the iSI classroom first. After completing the Liability Waiver, Student Leader Agreement, Medical Form, and also requesting recommendations from your area leaders, you'll find the link to register as Student Instructor for your event. 

  1. Apply.
  2. Enter the Student Instructor classroom.
  3. Get recommendations.
  4. Receive an acceptance letter with registration link.
  5. Register.
  6. Complete iSI assignments in classroom.
